In 1999, while teaching as an art instructor for the Santa Barbara Zoological Garden's Summer Zoo Camp Program, I was approached by the zoo's Veterinarian to paint murals for the backgrounds of two new zoo exhibits. Each exhibit houses 4-5 different spaces for snakes and rats. Fresh out of college, this amazing experience kick started my mural painting career...

The "Desert Discovery" Exhibit was a tiny space to paint in...the glass was unable to be taken down so I had to climb into the space each day to paint. I felt like one of the animals on exhibit!

The mural at St. Thomas the Apostle School in Delmar, NY was a special project for me since I was a student there and walked by that space a million times as a child. It has been used as a nice backdrop for many school photos.
